About Me
From the moment my mother asked me to be her "little helper" in the kitchen as a small child, I knew I loved to bake. From cakes to pies to homemade bread, she made it all from scratch. As an adult with a family of my own, I continued baking great homemade items for my family to enjoy. My baking came to a halt after I was diagnosed with a gluten allergy. I couldn't even bake treats for my family because I wasn't allowed to touch wheat flour, let alone eat it. I found a few special baking mixes to create, but I truly missed creating items from scratch. After some research, I found many ways to create my old favorites just using different flours! I created this blog to share my love of baking and encourage others to pursue their passions, no matter what obstacles they face.
